Main Street Books marks
fourth anniversary March 27

Main Street Books continues to grow, both in size and in activity. It now carries over 16,000 books and hundreds of toys, and it has many monthly activities for all age groups.
Several activities are planned for March, including a daily surprise sale and its first ever Gently Used Book Drive. Main Street Books will be giving its customers 27 percent off coupons when they donate used books, which can be used on a one-time shopping spree until April 7. (Please, no older books, and no romance or religion volumes.)

Other events planned will be an Indie Bound bag giveaway on March 27 as well as music and a puppet show and free cake the day of the anniversary. For more information, go to mainstreetbooksminot.booksense.com or call the store at 839-4050.

Planned events include:

Saturday March 13, 1:00-3:00 p.m. – Decorate Your Own Irish McCupcakes. The activity is geared toward children, and cupcakes, icing and green sprinkles and other green toppings will be provided free while supplies last.

Thursday, March 18 at 6:30 p.m. – Main Street Readers meets to discuss The Last Lecture, by Randy Pausch. Main Street welcomes new members continuously.

Saturday, March 27 at 11 a.m. – Mrs. Pages the Library Witch will be at Main Street Books for a special St. Patrick’s Day, fourth anniversary puppet show.

Saturday, March 27 4:00-6:00 p.m. – Eli’s coming. Join Main Street Books as Eli presents his new band – so new, it doesn’t have a name yet – and plays a special anniversary celebration show. Cake for Main Street Books fourth anniversary will be provided. Indie Bound bags will be given away throughout the day with purchase while supplies last. Patron logo
